BenchMark is a community-powered map for discovering and logging benches and hidden rest spots around the world. It's simple, user-friendly, and built for explorers. Whether you're looking for a scenic spot to sit or want to share your favourite bench with the world, BenchMark has you covered.
🎮 HOW TO PLAY
LOG BENCHES
Tap and hold anywhere on the map to drop a new bench pin. Add a photo, rating and description to help other scouts.
EXPLORE LAYERS
Switch between Benches, Public Toilets, Free Parking, Footpaths and more using the Bench Menu in the top-left corner.
SAVE FAVOURITES
Tap the bookmark icon on any bench to save it. Find all your saved spots in the Saved tab inside the Bench Menu.
GET DIRECTIONS
Open any bench and tap SET WAYPOINT for road-following walking directions, or use the Google Maps link.
SHARE INTEL
Add comments and photos to any bench. Rate benches from BROKEN to LEGENDARY to help the community.
CLIMB THE LEADERBOARD
Every bench you log earns XP. Check your rank and stats on your profile page.
EXPLORER PASS
Unlock hidden premium layers and features from the Store tab inside the Bench Menu.

Use the search bar at the bottom to find any location worldwide — the map flies straight there.

Explore a live, crowd-sourced map of benches, public toilets, free parking spots, and footpaths. Pan and zoom anywhere in the world to discover rest spots logged by fellow scouts. Each pin shows a photo, a BROKEN-to-LEGENDARY rating, and community comments so you know exactly what to expect before you arrive.
LOG & SHARE BENCHES
Found a great bench? Drop a pin by tapping and holding the map, then add a photo, rating, and description. Every bench you log is visible to the entire BenchMark community and earns you a place on the global leaderboard. Help fellow explorers find the best spots to sit and rest.
LEADERBOARD & RANKINGS
Compete with scouts worldwide. The more benches you log and the more likes your benches receive, the higher you climb. Track your rank, total benches logged, and total likes on your profile — see how your contributions stack up against the rest of the community.
SAVE FAVOURITES & OFFLINE ACCESS
Bookmark any bench you love and find it instantly in your Saved tab. Your saved benches and your own logged benches are cached locally, so you can still view them even when you're offline and off the grid.
FRIENDS & SOCIAL
Add friends by username, send friend requests, and see what benches your friends have liked. View friend profiles to discover new spots through people you trust. Get notified when someone adds you as a friend.
WALKING DIRECTIONS
Found a bench you want to visit? Get road-following walking directions straight to it with a single tap, or open the route in Google Maps. Never wander aimlessly looking for a place to sit again.

DISCOVER BENCHES
Green pins show benches logged by the community. Tap any pin to see its photo, rating, description, and comments from other scouts.
LOG A NEW BENCH
Found a bench that isn't on the map yet? Tap and hold the location to drop a pin, then add a photo, a rating from BROKEN to LEGENDARY, and a short description.
SAVE & SHARE
Bookmark benches you love, leave comments and photos, and share your discoveries with friends. Every bench you log earns you a spot on the leaderboard.
